  • Specializes in late Victorian/British literature and art (1850 to 1900).
  • Extensive research conducted on two figures: British writer, caricaturist and broadcaster Sir Max Beerbohm (1872-1956) and British artist and illustrator Aubrey Beardsley (1872-1898).
  • A well-known collector and bibliographer, Samuels Lasner has loaned his own collection to the University of Delaware Library.
