- Researches cancer cell biology, with a particular focus on prostate cancer.
- Studies the development of hormone resistance in cancer, the spread of cancer to distant organs and the interaction between cancer and bone.
- Can discuss chemical causes of cancer, viral causes of cancer and hormonal causes of cancer.
- Developed several models for cancer progression that include a widely used human prostate cancer cell series that spread to bone spontaneously, several techniques for getting cancer cells to grow in bone including direct injection and colonization via blood delivery.
